“ Great Cafe, Great Sandwich! - We were driving through town as we were chasing the Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive, and we stopped at Market Cafe for lunch. The Reuben Sandwich was great! And, we were very glad to have such a good lunch as we were having a busy day driving. The waitress was very nice and helped us fill our thermos cups with ice water. Thank you for a great visit! ”

If desperately want to use a time machine to visit a 1950s southern restaurant, this place is pretty close to that; it doesn't appear to have been remodeled since the Eisenhower administration.
